ANALYSIS OF DECISION MAKING IN PURCHASING MOTORCYCLES AS OPERATIONAL EVENTS TBW (TOBA BIKE WEEK) USING AHP AND TOPSIS METHODS

Abstract

This research aims to analyze decision-making in the purchase of motorcycles for the Operational Acara TBW (Toba Bike Week) using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Technique or Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods. In this
context, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and TOPSIS methods are employed to assist in the decision-making process. The study involves the identification of specific criteria relevant to the purchase of motorcycles for the TBW acara. Additionally, the research aims to analyze the most dominant factors influencing the decision-making for Honda Beat 2023, Scoopy, and Genio motorcycles. The sample for this study consists of 3 respondents who are consumers that have previously used these motorcycles. The relative assessment of criteria is conducted using the AHP method to determine their weights. Subsequently, the TOPSIS method is utilized to rank the motorcycle options based on their proximity to the ideal solution. The results of this study reveal that the selected alternatif is Scoopy with a preference value of 0.249
