Abstract

In this study, automotive and component companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange are asked to examine the relationship between Return on Assets (ROA) and various financial ratios, including the Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), and Firm Size between 2019 and 2023. Purposive sampling is used in the study to choose automotive subsector companies that were listed within the given time period. Secondary data sources form the foundation of the analysis. SPSS version 19 and Microsoft Excel 2013 were used for data analysis. A variety of analytical techniques were applied, such as multiple linear regression analyses, hypothesis testing, correlation coefficient evaluations, determination coefficient evaluations, and classical assumption tests. The results show that the Debt to Equity Ratio and Total Asset Turnover have a statistically significant impact on Return on Assets, whereas the Current Ratio and Firm Size do not.
