Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of working capital turnover, total assets turnover, accounts receivable turnover, and leverage on the profitability of companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. The variables included in this study include working capital turnover, total asset turnover, accounts receivable turnover, and leverage, with the aim of assessing their impact on profitability. This study uses a casual associative research design with quantitative methodology. This research is focused on a population of 95 manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2021 to 2023. The sampling method used in this study is nonprobability sampling, specifically using a purposive sampling strategy. The methodology used in this study uses secondary data as the main source of information. The data required for this study consist of financial statements of manufacturing companies engaged in the food and beverage sub-sector, which are publicly listed on the Indonesia stock exchange between 2021 and 2023. This study uses multiple linear regression method for data analysis, using Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS V.19) software. The findings of this study show that the rate at which working capital is converted into revenue has no impact on profitability. However, the rate at which total assets are converted into revenue has a positive influence on profitability. Similarly, the rate at which receivables are converted into revenue does not affect profitability, and the level of leverage used also does not affect profitability.
