PENGARUH RETURN ON ASSET, NET PROFIT MARGIN, CURRENT RATIO DAN TOTAL ASSET TURNOVER TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN LABA (STUDI EMPIRIS PADA PERUSAHAAN SUB SEKTOR FOOD & BEVERAGES YANG TERDAFTAR PADA BURSA EFEK INDONESIA (BEI) PERIODE 2020-2023)

Abstract

Profit growth is an important indicator for assessing a company's financial performance, especially in the food and beverage sector, which is a key contributor to Indonesia's economy. With the industry's development and changing consumer behavior, companies in this sub-sector need to manage their assets and liquidity effectively to achieve sustainable profit growth. This study aims to analyze the impact of Return On Assets, Net Profit Margin, Current Ratio, and Total Asset Turnover on Profit Growth in Food and Beverage Sub-Sector Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2020-2023. The population of this study consists of 95 companies, with 46 companies selected as samples. The research technique used is purposive sampling, with multiple linear regression analysis processed using SPSS version 19.0. The results of this study indicate that Return On Assets, Net Profit Margin, and Current Ratio do not have a positive effect, while Total Asset Turnover has a negative and significant impact on profit growth.
